Le Meridien Hotel — Cairo Airport
A case study in delivery.
A 349-room, 5-star hotel at Cairo International Airport spanning ~37,000 m² gross floor area — central building, east & west wings, ballroom, all-day dining, spa, cabana, bridge link and services building.
Project management services for the main contractor: planning, scheduling, time control, reporting and claims.
The brief.
A complex airport-adjacent hotel with multiple wings and a bridge link, the Le Meridien programme needed tight time control and clear reporting to keep the main contractor aligned with the operator's opening milestones.
Execution.
HG embedded planning, scheduling, time control and claims support into the contractor's delivery team, producing regular progress reports and maintaining the baseline programme through design and construction changes.
Completion.
The contractor maintained an auditable programme and reporting trail, with claims prepared against a documented baseline that supported the project's commercial position.
