Hyatt Regency — Sharm El-Sheikh
A case study in delivery.
A 490-room 5-star hotel with multiple guest-room blocks on different levels, presidential and regency suites, a ~15,000 m² main building, water features, staff housing and extensive landscaping.
Owner's in-house consultant for planning, scheduling, cost estimation and control, and contract administration across local and international design and construction management partners.
The brief.
With 490 keys and a mix of local and international partners, the Hyatt Regency needed an owner's-side control function that could align cost, schedule and contracts across a fragmented supply chain.
Execution.
HG acted as the owner's in-house consultant, integrating planning, cost estimation and control, and contract administration so the owner had a single source of truth across designers and construction managers.
Completion.
The owner gained continuous visibility of cost and schedule performance, with contract administration keeping the multiple delivery partners aligned to the same programme and budget.
Every discipline HG performed on this engagement.
The full engagement scope, grouped by discipline. Each item was executed by the relevant HG subsidiary or an integrated delivery team on behalf of the owner, contractor or consortium.
